Return Policy
1. General Overview
By purchasing products from SUKOMI ("the Company"), the customer ("the Customer") acknowledges and agrees to the terms, conditions, and provisions outlined in this Refund & Return Policy. This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement governing all purchases, refund requests, returns, exchanges, and related disputes between the Customer and SUKOMI. By completing a purchase through our website, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Policy in its entirety.
2. Return Requests
Return requests may be considered only if the Customer contacts our support team at support@sukomi.com within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date.
The request must include:
- Full name
- Order number
- Date of purchase
- Detailed explanation of the issue
- Supporting documentation when applicable, including photographs, videos, receipts, or other relevant evidence
Requests submitted after the 30-day period may not be eligible for review. SUKOMI reserves the right to deny requests that are incomplete, inaccurate, or unsupported by sufficient documentation.
Submission of a return request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of SUKOMI.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the item ordered, the Customer must notify SUKOMI within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
The notification must include:
- Clear photographs or videos showing the issue
- A detailed description of the defect or damage
- Order information sufficient to verify the purchase
Upon review, SUKOMI may, at its sole discretion, offer a replacement, store credit, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution. The determination made by SUKOMI shall be final.
4. Return Shipping & Physical Returns
To provide faster resolutions and reduce unnecessary shipping waste, physical returns are generally not required.
However, SUKOMI reserves the right to request that a product be returned for inspection, verification, or processing. If a return is authorized or required, the Customer shall be responsible for all associated shipping costs, customs fees, duties, taxes, and packaging expenses unless otherwise stated in writing by SUKOMI.
Customers are strongly encouraged to use a trackable shipping method, as SUKOMI is not responsible for packages lost, delayed, or damaged during return transit.
5. Conditions for Return Eligibility
When a physical return is requested by SUKOMI, returned products must:
- Be in original condition
- Include all original accessories, manuals, packaging, inserts, and components
- Be free of excessive wear, damage, modification, pet-related contamination, stains, odors, or alterations
- Not show evidence of misuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs
SUKOMI reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these requirements.
Additionally, SUKOMI may assess a reasonable restocking fee for products returned in less-than-original condition where permitted by applicable law.
6. Refund Determinations
Refunds are not automatically granted.
SUKOMI reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution for any claim, including but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Replacement product
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Full refund
Customers may be required to provide additional documentation, photographs, videos, or verification information before a determination is made.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds, replacements, or credits may be denied in circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Incorrect shipping information provided by the Customer
- Orders marked as delivered by the carrier
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Claims submitted outside the applicable reporting period
- Failure to provide requested evidence or documentation
- Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious refund activity
8. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SUKOMI, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to the Customer's purchase, use of products, violation of this Policy, or violation of applicable laws.
This obligation shall survive the termination of this Policy.
9. Policy Modifications
SUKOMI reserves the right to update, modify, amend, or replace this Refund & Return Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on the Company's website. Continued use of the website or purchase of products after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
10. Governing Law
This Refund & Return Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the United States.
11. Chargeback Policy
Before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or claim with a financial institution, the Customer agrees to first contact SUKOMI at support@sukomi.com and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
Failure to follow this process may be used as supporting evidence during any dispute investigation.
SUKOMI reserves the right to provide this Policy, communication records, order confirmations, tracking information, and other relevant documentation to payment processors, financial institutions, or dispute resolution providers in defense of any chargeback claim.
